Honeysuckle Jelly
What is there to be said about an already beautiful and sweet-smelling flower? Other than that it is a wonderful addition to your landscape and to your jelly collection.
Recipe type: Jelly
  • 2 – Cups of Flower Petals
  • 2 ½ – Cups of Boiling Water for steeping the petals
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • ¼ – Cup Lemon Juice
  • 3 ½ – Cups of Sugar
  • 1 – Package of Pectin
  1. Pour the boiling water over the petals.
  2. Add the lemon zest.
  3. Steep for 2 hours.
  4. Strain the mix.
  5. Add to your saucepan with the lemon juice.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Add the pectin and return to the boil.
  8. Add the sugar and let boil for a minute or two.
  9. Remove from heat and transfer into hot, clean jars and cap tightly.
